Mutations - MAAD Paris

Exhibition Catalogue

Bridging past and present through design

Designed the Mutations exhibition catalogue, complete communication materials, and contributed to the scenography for a special exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs de Paris. The show invited contemporary artists to create new pieces inspired by objects from the museum’s collection, blending heritage with innovation.

The catalogue was conceived as an extension of the exhibition itself — pages featured paper cut-out windows that revealed transitions between the historical and the newly created works. This tactile design mirrored the physical scenography, creating a dialogue between old and new, and transforming the reading experience into a sensory exploration.

The result is a project where graphic design, storytelling, and exhibition design come together seamlessly, celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and the dialogue between eras.
